Review from a student who took M 408D
Lectures weren't that informative, but I think it was his first time teaching the course and was getting used to it. His tests were easy, and the course itself is not difficult, especially if you have had calculus in high school. If not it may be more challenging. Like most math classes, it's important to get a pretty good TA so you can interact and ask more questions about problems. He assigned homework frequently and the grading was fairly strict, but the solutions are all in the solutions book and he limited them to relevant problems. I recommend him.
